Laptop or desktop computer and an Internet connection
- Laptops have the advantage of usually already having a webcam and microphone.
- For a smooth experience, we recommend a connection with at least 16 Mbit/s.
- If possible, use a wired connection (LAN)—it’s more stable than Wi-Fi.
Webcam
- On our training platforms, you can turn the camera on or off yourself at any time.
You can easily turn it off during breaks. - Make sure the camera is pointed directly at you.
Microphone
- You can control the microphone yourself at any time—mute it when you don’t need it.
- The best way to avoid background noise is to keep the microphone on only when you’re speaking.
- A headset generally provides significantly better sound quality than the laptop’s built-in microphone.
Speakers or Headphones
If you’re actively participating with a microphone, we recommend using headphones or a headset to prevent feedback.
Before the training session: Test your system and connection:
The training lasts 4 days.
As part of a subsidized continuing education program, the course is divided into three phases:
- The actual training with the respective training sessions
- Follow-up using recordings, a lab environment, and course materials
- Exam preparation leading up to the exam or certification
